Notes - Wilho Simila is my First Cousin, once removed. He was killed in action over Germany in 1944. Summarizing the above report...An eye-witness report from returning aircrews stated that the aircraft was lost to enemy fighter attacks over the target and that men began bailing out with a total of (5) parachutes seen before the ship went into dive.
